Apple’s working on an update to stop people deliberately bricking their iPhones
Apple has said it’s going to roll out an update that stops people from deliberately rendering their iOS devices useless by setting the time and date back to a specific point. The problem hit headlines last week and despite plenty of people saying that setting your time and date to May, 1970 or earlier ruins your phone, plenty more went ahead and did it anyway.
