VibeDate Startup Helps Users Plan the Perfect Date

Ideas for Dates - VibeDate

When you think of dating services, you probably think of platforms that help match people with potential partners based on their common interests. But what happens after that initial connection?

For plenty of couples, coming up with date ideas can be even more difficult than finding potential matches, especially if you’re sick of the same old dinner and a movie dates over and over again. Whether you’re going out with someone new or looking to add some interest to an established relationship, there’s VibeDate.

Ideas for Dates

Co-founder Maggie Partsi actually got the idea for VibeDate from watching a lot of The Bachelor on TV. She thought that if so many people enjoyed watching others go on fun dates on TV, they might enjoy going on some fun dates themselves.

Partsi said in an email interview with Small Business Trends, “I’ve always loved planning special occasions and my partner and I decided to share our date ideas with those around us. This meant they could go on adventures too and save themselves from those horrible ‘What do you want to do?’ ‘You choose,’ ‘No, you choose!’ fights, by letting us do all the planning for them!”

Partsi and her partner Tony Dymock officially started the business late last year after winning a pitch fest in their native Australia. They invested their winnings into setting up an Australian Business Number and a website. They’ve also taken part in a Start Up Expo at Pause Fest, a digital festival in Australia.

To use the service, users simply use the company’s website to input some of their personal information along with date preferences and budget. VibeDate can plan dates anywhere from $50 to $2,000. And the company has some partnerships with popular date locations and vendors to get discounted rates on activities.

Partsi says, “For special occasions, anniversaries and proposals people tend to spend more. However if you’re just looking for a fun way to spend the weekend or want to save some cash, the cheaper options are great too!”

The company also offers predetermined date categories including foodie, adventure, romantic, nature, bar, surprise and even bestie dates. Once you input your details, someone from VibeDate gets in touch within 24 hours to ask a few questions. And then the team plans and arranges the whole date for you. However, the company currently only serves people looking to arrange dates near Melbourne and Victoria in Australia.

In addition to the date service, VibeDate is also producing a Date Book with some of the most popular date ideas they’ve created in each category. Partsi says that the details are still being worked out, but the book should be available online for a reasonable rate in a few months.

In addition, the VibeDate team intends to continue building brand awareness on social media and of course — planning fun dates.
