DisplayMate finds Galaxy Note 7 display is brightest ever tested

Samsung has been a leader in mobile display quality for quite a while. The AMOLED panels in the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were rated by DisplayMate to be the best so far, but the Galaxy Note 7 seems to have set a new record.

The screen on the Note 7 reached a peak brightness of 1048 nits in auto brightness mode, which is almost 200 nits brighter than the Galaxy S7. It’s the brightest display that DisplayMate has ever tested by a good margin, which is very impressive.

The company also talked about other things Samsung did right with the display, including the dual ambient light sensors for better auto brightness. Hit the source link to read more!
