Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite kernel source code is now available
Xiaomi has been quite busy as this year begins to wrap up. The company has an event planned in New York next month, they just released the kernel source code for the Mi Mix 3, and now they have done the same for the Mi 8 Lite. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a less expensive variant of their regular Mi 8 lineup that was launched a couple of months ago. It comes with the Snapdragon 660 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. It’s an interesting mix of hardware components as many would consider it to be mid-range due to the SoC, but it has more RAM and internal storage than some $800+ smartphones.
Sometimes it takes Xiaomi a long time to release the kernel source code for a device they sell, but other times it can come rather hastily. Many would still consider 2 months too long to wait but those who are interested can now download the kernel source code for the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
