Critical Thinking Skills are vital for all of us in this profession. For example, when you’re faced with a person or a department or a team that is performing much better or much worse than all others, begin your investigation with distinctions about that person or group compared to others. There will be something distinct about the “outlier” from all others, and therein will be the cause of great success to be replicated of the poor performance to be improved.
