Convenient Interface
Mistify uses a floating settings screen that allows you to adjust your settings without leaving what you are doing.

Dimming
Dim your screen even more using the Mistify brightness slider. Perfect for those times you are reading in bed.

Blue light filter
Mistify includes in bed and blue light filters that can reduce the impact your screen has on your circadian rhythm. If you are the type of person that uses your device before bed, you need this.

Android 8.0+ Permissions
Modify system settings (write settings) - allows the app to dim the status bar and notification drawer on Oreo+ devices. You can run the app without granting this permission but you probably won't be happy.

Android Limitations
Google is now preventing apps from overlaying the status bar and notification drawer in Android 8 and above. You can still have limited control of notification drawer brightness through the app if you grant permission to modify your system settings.
