Verizon plans on announcing the price and retail launch date of the HTC 10 later today, but the company has already revealed that it will be hosting “exclusive in-store previews” of the phone on April 29 to help kick off pre-orders. Since HTC is already taking pre-orders for the unlocked HTC 10 for $700 directly on its website, we expect the contract-free pricing for the phone to be about the same. But there’s a good chance that it’ll come in a little lower since Verizon is selling the Samsung Galaxy S7 for $672.
Discount code drops HTC 10 pre-order price to $600
HTC has promised that the HTC 10 will be available in Europe by late April, but the US retail debut of the HTC 10 isn’t expected until “early April.” For HTC’s sake, we’re hoping the HTC 10 will be showing up at Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile by the time April 10 rolls around.
Verizon will start preorders for the HTC 10 on April 29. In addition, Verizon Wireless stores will host exclusive in-store previews on April 29 to give consumers and media a hands-on look at the HTC 10. Verizon will be the first wireless carrier to offer the HTC 10.
