Users have been reporting a pretty significant memory leak in Android 6.0 Marshmallow since late last year. Memory leaks are nothing new to Android, nor are they too difficult to take care of. But they can get annoying when apps start closing themselves when you leave them for mere moments.
The good news is that Google has finally fixed the big memory leak in Marshmallow, saying that the patch is finished and will be available in a future build. Whether this will be a patch included in the monthly updates or if it’ll come with the Android N update in the future, we don’t know, but at least we know it’ll be fixed sometime soon.
